With the kind support of The VEDS Movement and The Marfan Foundation, DEFY hosted the 4th Scientific Meeting on Vascular Ehlers Danlos Syndrome on April 9th, 2021. This meeting was held virtually and provided a platform for members of the medical and scientific communities to present abstracts across all disciplines and topics on VEDS, including medical and surgical interventions, unveiling molecular mechanisms, insights derived from animal models, innovative technologies, provocative concepts and mutation-specific patient reported natural history and surgical outcomes. With more than 100 clinicians and scientists in attendance, we are very excited to see how this opportunity for open collaboration amongst them will help direct the pathway forward for progress and advance the treatment and study of VEDS.
